15 Sep 2010 Fabric Covered Journals and Sketchbooks w/ C.J. Grossman
Saturday October 23rd, 1-4pm
Join mixed media artist and art teacher, CJ Grossman for an afternoon of bookmaking! CJ is a popular workshop teacher and we are always happy to have her for an afternoon at SCRAP! During this workshop you will use fabric, cardboard, paper, cord, buttons, double stick tape and more to create a sketchbook or journal with a fabric cover. (You will be able to reproduce this at home, using such things as old shirts to create memorable books for journaling, sketching or scrap booking.) You will leave this workshop with at least one book to keep or give to a friend for the holidays or as a birthday present. This class is fun, satisfying and inspiring and perfect timing as you enter the holiday season gift giving season! (If you are a teacher, this is a great project to take back to your class room as well!)
