WE SCRAP! Workshops for Educators
As funding for art education and public education in general continues to be cut from government budgets we want to renew our mission to get supplies into the hands of teachers who need them and reinforce the importance of creativity in the lives and education of children. Running in conjunction with our Monthly Teacher Material GiveAways for San Francisco teachers on the first Saturday of every month, SCRAP offers WE SCRAP! Workshops for Educators.

WE SCRAP! workshops present a creative reuse project that can be used in the classroom, uses SCRAP materials and directly ties into the curriculum. These workshops will be taught by creative arts professionals and educators themselves. In the workshops participants will have the opportunity to create and will obtain a materials package to teach the project in their own classroom complete with an instruction sheet that includes a list of California Content Standards that the project fulfills.

The 2 to 3 hour workshops are just $15. Go to our workshops page for the schedule and to register.
