SCRAP, the nation’s original Creative Reuse Center,
celebrated our 40th anniversary in 2016!
Thanks to all of our friends and supporters who helped us celebrate at our sold-out event.
We partook of great brews and wines paired with multi-cultural finger food. We created art masks from reused materials and took them home. We met fabulous people, enjoyed scintillating conversation and had some surprises that delighted us.
SCRAP’s found, Anne Marie Theilen was feted for her important contributions.
Great entertainment was provided by the renowned Ruth Asawa School of the Arts Jazz Combo.
The Gala took place Thursday, October 20th, at the beautifully restored, historic Bayview Opera House.

RECLAIMED was hung at the SF Arts Education Project Gallery, in the Minnesota Street Project, 1275 Minnesota St. The show ran October 1-23. The opening reception was October 8, and we enjoyed a community day Closing Party on the 23rd.
Thanks to these sponsors and supporters who helped SCRAP40 be amazing!
