SCRAP40: I love that place!

SCRAP, the nation’s original Creative Reuse Center,
celebrated our 40th anniversary in 2016!

We were thrilled by the response to SCRAP40 – I love that place! SCRAP40: celebrating SCRAP's 40th anniversarythe 40th anniversary GALA celebrating SCRAP’s founders, staff, volunteers, and others who have helped SCRAP be so amazing for so long.

Thanks to all of our friends and supporters who helped us celebrate at our sold-out event.

A great crowd of friends and supporters celebrated SCRAP40.

We partook of great brews and wines paired with multi-cultural finger food. We created art masks from reused materials and took them home. We met fabulous people, enjoyed scintillating conversation and had some surprises that delighted us.

SCRAP’s found, Anne Marie Theilen was feted for her important contributions.

Great entertainment was provided by the renowned Ruth Asawa School of the Arts Jazz Combo.

The Gala took place Thursday, October 20th, at the beautifully restored, historic Bayview Opera House.
