08 Apr 2011 SCRAP Workshop: Accessorize with Toys – Project Adorn-Neck!
Accessorize with Toys – Project Adorn-Neck
w/ emiko oye & Shana Astrachan
Saturday, May 7 1-4pm fee: $25
Fearless alt craft duo, emiko oye and Shana Astrachan of Accessorize with Toys are back with a specially designed project for SCRAP’s jewelry fans: PROJECT ADORN-NECK. Taking cues from the reality series, Project Runway, participants will have 3 hours to design, “shop” for materials, and create a one-of-a-kind, personalized art neckpiece using techniques presented in class. Participants are asked to bring with them a personal treasure from home that is the inspiration point and be the central object of focus for their neckpiece. Shana and emiko will guide individuals through the creative process to “Make it Work!”
