23 Mar 2012 SCRAP Workshop: May Flowers w/ Dorothy Yuki
Just in time for Mothers Day… April showers bring May flowers to SCRAP! Dorothy Yuki will present a myriad of flower-making techniques using SCRAP materials like paper, fabric, and notions to make the perfect accouterments for gifts, bags, coats, hats, or as a gift in itself!
A past manufacturer and a design and production consultant for the fashion industries, Dorothy’s path has been one of an adventure through graphic arts, real estate development, fashion designing and crafting in the US, Europe, South America and Mexico. She is a member of the Friends of Calligraphy and Pacific Center for Book Arts in San Francisco. Her passion in all things creative has taken her to teaching at various venues in San Francisco and the Sierra Gorda Biosphere. An active scrounger, her favorite store is Scrap!
