WE SCRAP! Pilot Workshop –

Classroom Fabric Banners & Quilts
presented by Patricia Christensen & Rebekah Werth
Saturday, April 7th
10am – 1pm     fee: $15

SCRAP has a wide selection of wonderful fabrics that can be used to make easy one-piece fabric crayon banners for your classroom, school hallway, special event or at home with your own children. Teachers Patricia Christensen and Rebekah Werth will walk participants through the process of making banners as well as individual pieces and classroom quilts with fabric crayons, pastels, fabric markers and textile paint. Participants will be presented with an instruction sheet including a list of California Content Standards that this project fulfills. They will also be given a classroom package of materials for this project.

I am really wanting to quilt with students in my 7th and 8th grade math classes. I would like information on projects that we could complete and then ideally auction off for a fundraiser for the school.
