Field Trips Are Back!

Field Trips are a wonderful way to introduce the concept of sustainability, circular economies and creative reuse to your group of students! Field trips are free to SFUSD classrooms.

Fill out the form to schedule your group!

What does a field trip look like?

  1. Brief educational overview of SCRAP, our history, and creative reuse

  2. A tour of the depot, both the yard and the store

  3. A Craft Activity or Volunteering Activity. Additional charges might apply.

  4. Shopping/browsing time for students. Please have students bring reusable shopping bags and small bills (less than $20).

Even if you don't add on a craft or volunteering activity, a field trip to SCRAP is a great way to get students involved in sourcing materials for projects!

Your participation in this field trip acknowledges that SCRAP is not liable for any damage to the field trip classes property or persons.

Please fill out the form below (scroll to the end) if you are interested in planning a field trip. Thank you!
