SCRAP NEEDS YOUR FINANCIAL SUPPORT!
At orientation, you will take a tour of the facility, get an idea of what kinds of tasks you’ll be doing, and learn how to sign up for shifts.
Once you attend an orientation, you’re ready to start volunteering, and you can sign up online for any available shifts.
Please only reserve times that you’re sure you can make. If you can only work a partial shift or have other special accommodations, please make a note when you sign up.
Please let someone from our staff know when you arrive, and don’t forget to sign in and put on your volunteer badge!
Happy volunteering!

SCRAP is a great place to bring a team to engage in meaningful, hands-on work that truly benefits the community. Teams can engage in projects such as sorting and organizing materials, making improvements to the depot or special projects developed with your organization's unique set of skills or interests in mind.
In the past, teams have also engaged in creative team-building challenges using materials in the depot. Group bonding experiences can be developed with and coordinated by your team's facilitator, with access to SCRAP's workshop space and depot materials.
Group volunteering experiences take a lot of organizing and planning. We suggest a $50-$100 donation per head. All funds go to support our arts education programming in the South East part of San Francisco.
This could be you and your team!
